~A Fairy Play House ~

As a little girl, I dreamed of a place like this. Somewhere that I could hide away from the chaos of my little life. Somewhere where nobody fought and everybody loved each other. In my little imaginary world I would disappear here. I would do all things girly, and pretend to be a beautiful fairy.

I decided to turn an old shed in our backyard into a pretty little play house for my daughters. They are my little princesses and love to dress up and play pretend.

Here they have their little tea parties with their dolls.

Hiding behind this little curtain makes dress-up fun.

A little mirror ....

Don't you just want to curl up here and take a little afternoon nap? Excuse me while I do...

Absolutely beautiful. It really made me smile.
I am about to move to a new house that has a nice little building on it that will eventually be an extra sewing room. Now I have to think about. Your idea is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing.

When can I come over? We'll hang out together and escape all of the ickiness of life! What a great place and how wonderful to be able to give your own girls what you wanted as a little girl!

Wow--that is one of the best things ever--you captured the way many girls feel when young!! I certainly did even though I was a tomboy--I still enjoyed the girlie stuff!! Beautiful!

I'm so jealous. I dreamed of a place like that when I was a girl too. I wish my husband would build me one now. LOL What a wonderful get away.

How fun, what a wonderful place to slip away to and enjoy the simple pleasures of the day.

Truly you've created a place of beauty. May your daughters enjoy your creation!

OMGOSH! You have completely inspired me. We have the ugliest metal shed in our yard and it's just a total eyesore. Who's to say I couldn't make it into something amazing with and for my kids??

That is so cool!
Your little girls are so very lucky to have such a wonderful space of their own, as well as such a thoughtful mother.
